Street Children – Million children living on streets is an issue. It has become so common that it is almost commonplace. This can be attributed to many factors. Extreme Poverty, declining social services, and joblessness are a few of them. The growing number of people who have fallen victim to this can also be attributed to this.

The demand for cheap housing, as well as land and real estate, has led some property owners and builders to exploit loopholes in laws to make as much money as possible at the expense of others. To address the problem, we must first understand what causes homelessness in the first place in street children.

There are many different types of homelessness and they all stem from one common source: poverty. If you’re reading this article right now chances are you’re probably not homeless; at least not yet anyway.

However, there might be someone you know who is or soon will be if they don’t get help soon enough. You see, with every passing day more kids than ever before are being forced to live on the streets because their parents can no longer afford to take care of them anymore or don’t have a safe place for them.

Due to reasons beyond their control like a divorce or changing jobs or losing their home through foreclosure or bankruptcy or other similar things that lead most parents into this situation sooner than later because there just isn’t enough affordable housing out there for everyone any more which drives up costs and makes it harder for people on fixed incomes.

The demand for affordable housing has also increased because of this which puts more people at risk of becoming homeless children than ever before. Homelessness stems from a lack of affordable housing and poverty. This can be easily seen when looking at the population of homeless people in India. According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, there are million children who live on the streets today. However, this number is lower than it should be for a country with such a high population because most people who live on the streets don’t actually need to be there.

In order to address homelessness and poverty, we must first have affordable housing available. In many cities, the cost of living has skyrocketed due to lack of affordable housing making life difficult for street children and youth. Who don’t have enough money to pay rent or even buy food or basic necessities.

Homelessness is a result of unemployment or lack of affordable housing. This means that the cause of homelessness is poverty. The number one cause for the homeless population is joblessness. A person loses their job and has to find another one in a hurry because they have bills to pay or because they need money to survive, but it’s hard enough looking for work as it is. They turn to friends, family and other people from their community who might be able to help them out but they might not have enough money either so they end up on the street without any real options.

Over crowding and isolation

However, for those in poverty there are no safe options, and children to reintegrate into society. The demand for cheap housing and the lack of affordable housing is so great that it pushes them into increasingly overcrowded places. This can lead to a number of different negative outcomes such as mental health issues, diseases, and even death from tragedy. This leads to an increase in homelessness, which creates a cycle of isolation and desperation. Street children have less access to resources like healthcare and education which makes it harder for them to find work or improve their lives. These things push street kids into poverty and make it even more difficult to escape without help.
